Arsenal : Quick counters and more direct play.

With Theo walcott back it seems obvious to play on the counter utilizing his explicit pace and athleticism but the Arsenal of old have always preferred a more patient possession game but after a 5 - 0 drubbing of Aston villa Arsenal show they have huge potential as a counter attacking team.

To be a good counter attacking team you need a solid base and a strong platform to work from in previous matches this season Koscienly and Mertesacker in particular have looked all over the place defensively but with the addition to Coquelin in recent weeks he's gave an aging Mertesacker that needed protection in front which has shown in Arsenals defensive performances of late. Not to mention the safety net
of there goalkeeper Ospina something that Szczesny didn't provide.

Alongside that you need creativity from deep and for Santi Cazorla is proving to be arsenals player of the season pace, skill , vision and creativity he can take that ball and open up various opurtunities for his team mates. Now with Ozil back its going  to be interesting to see who arsene wenger perfers as his main playmaker although Ozil did take a position on the wing but is this temporary?

Now to the most important part goals now that Walcott's back , Giroud's and the return of Danny Welbeck i can see Arsenal  finding some form.  The healthy thing about this side is there is option for change and variation with plenty goals all over the pitch. If Ramsay can find his goal scoring form that he had at the start of the season i can see this Arsenal team going on a huge run.

But can Arsenal do it against the big sides? that's the question with Sanchez to come back there best player in my opinion i dont see why not.
